Not just a sugar daddy: Andrew Yang | Hot Asian Men Friday

First Asian American Presidential candidate? I like the sound of that. Agreeing that I will have 1000 USD per month? Tell me more about it. Studied at Brown university for political science and went to Columbia law school? I think we have striked a deal. Here I present… Andrew Yang, an American born Taiwanese who is running for 2020 election.

According to Yang’s official campaign website, he was born in upstate New York in 1975. His parents immigrated from Taiwan in the 1960s believing in the American Dream. He studied economics and political science at Brown and went to law school at Columbia university.
He is a lawyer, entrepreneur, father of two children and he could be your next American President.

He admitted that he is not a career politician but he said that he is “an entrepreneur who understands the economy”. He understands that new technologies – robots, software, artificial intelligence have already destroyed 4 million US jobs and in the foreseeable future, they will eliminate millions more. To avoid Americans being unemployed he proposed an implementation of the Freedom Dividend, which is a universal basic income (UBI) for every American adult over the age of 18. He promised 1,000 per month with no strings attached and paid for by a new tax imposed on companies benefiting most from automation. Do you want your president be your sugar daddy?

Like Flannery O’Connor’s short story title says, “a good man is hard to find”. This man is successful, intelligent and independent. All these qualities contribute to “a good man”. In his thirties, he ran a national education company that grew to become #1 in the states. After the company got acquired, he decided to take his earning and commit in creating jobs in cities that was severally affected by the financial crisis. Through that experience he understood the power of entrepreneurship to generate economic growth. He decided to start of an organization called Venture for America, to help entrepreneurs create jobs in cities like Baltimore, Detroit and Cleveland. On top of all the qualities I listed earlier, he also has a kind heart. Give me this man already!

He acknowledges that the world is experience the greatest technological and economic shift in human history, even more significant than the industrial revolution and it is time that he believes American should address these problems heads on.

MC Jin recently published a rap song called “Drew Yang Gang That’s Who I Hooked Up With” and I have to agree that this man is beyond physical attractiveness, he is intelligently-hot! In his other song called 8-Mile Yang he summarized his policies in a few lines,
“I am Asian. I am an immigrant’s son
Poor dad only had peanuts — not a rich one
The future’s now — sound the alarm
Who’s next to get laid off?
Can’t get a job ’cause of automation —
Need a basic income”
