Young Chen was born in 1999 and he started skating since he was 3 years old. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Chinese parents. His father is a research scientist and his mother is a medical translator. Before I start talking about his amazing achievement in the ice skating world, let’s take a second and appreciate this perfect prince charming in every girl’s dream.
In 2018-2019, this young man is ranked 1st in the world’s standing. He has the longest current winning streak, record the highest winning rate (74% in senior career and 92% since second seniors season for a make skater. He broke the men’s record for the combined total with 335.3 points at the 2019 Grand Prix Final. He also broke the men’s record for the free skate with 224.9 points at the 2019 Grand Prix Final.
