Asian men have been under/misrepresented in Western popular culture for a long time. With bullshit chopstick ads by Dolce and Cabana, (which doesn’t have much to do with men per say but should be called out more often) and racist movies like Breakfast at Tiffany’s, representing Asian men as ridiculous for comedic effect, Torja introduces to you lovely readers, Hot Asian Guy Friday, where we will introduce to attractive men of Asian descent, just to balance things out.
This Friday we will look into one of the most delicious men out there, Naoki Kobayashi. Kobayashi was invited to the 2019 Met Gala, which he attended wearing a Tom Ford glittery-zebra print suit. The J-Pop superstar is a dancer for the J-Pop sensation, Exile and lead performer for the Sandaime J Soul Brothers. Here’s a shot of his abs:
In 2014, Naoki begain his acting career, staring in films such as The Earthquake Bird and Tatara Samurai. This stud also dapples in fashion, styling out on the runway in Yohji Yamamoto’s shows.
Sandaime J Soul Brothers’ record, The JSB Legacy went platinum three times in 2016. They’ve also received numerous awards in Japan including at the MTV Video Music Awards, Japan Cable Awards and Japan Record Award. As an actor, Naoki was awarded the Best Supporting Actor at Auckland International Film Festival in New Zealand, and also won the Best Artistic Contribution at the 40th Montreal World Film Festival.
